What to Know Before Your Pet's Stay

Resort Hours

We are open Monday through Saturday from 7am - 7pm and on Sundays from 1pm - 5pm.

Check In and Check Out

Check your pets in and out anytime during resort hours. Boarding charges begin on the day of arrival and pets checked out after noon on Monday-Saturday are charged for the day of departure. All pets departing on Sunday will be charged for the day of departure.

Healthy Pets

Boarding your pets exposes them to other animals from all different environments, which can increase their risk of catching an infection or illness. While we have stringent cleaning procedures that minimize this risk, keeping your pets up-to-date on their vaccinations is the best way to prepare them for their stay. If your pet is due for their vaccines we recommend having them updated at least 10 days before their stay.

If your pet exhibits any of the following symptoms before arrival: sneezing, coughing, or nasal/eye discharge, please visit your veterinarian.

Required Vaccinations for Dogs:
    • Rabies    • DHLPP  • Bordetella

*We do not require the Canine Influenza vaccine, but we do recommend having your pet vaccinated against this virus. For more information on Canine Influenza please click here.

 

Holiday Reservations

A reservation booked over a major holiday requires a deposit. For General Boarding the deposit is $75 per pet, per holiday. For Pet Suites the deposit is $150 per pet, per holiday. The deposit is due at the time the reservation is made and is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Temperament Testing

We welcome all breeds and temperaments into our facility. If your dog does not get along with other pups, no problem! Your pet can still enjoy play times done one-on-one with one of our Kennel Attendants. We do not require temperament testing prior to arrival, but will assess what play groups are best for them once they are with us.

Bedding Policies

 

No matter the season, we provide lots of warm and cozy bedding for all of our guests at the Atlanta Pet Resort, Inc. Standard Resort Bedding consists of plush bath mats and fuzzy blankets and is provided for all pets at no cost. For pets that require extra padding due to arthritis or other ailments, we can provide them with extra-thick Geriatric Bedding for a small fee.

Guests are more than welcome to bring their own bedding to use during their stay as well. We just ask that bedding be something that can be easily washed. (See Guidelines →)

If you would like to bring a "pillow" bed, or a bed that has an insert and a cover, please wrap the inside stuffing with plastic before your arrival. This is so we can easily wash the bed if needed.
